TWO GREAT KICK-OFF PARTIES

Roll into the Bike MS season with us as we kick off our upcoming Bike MS: The Mother Road Ride 2012! Gather your friends, family, and coworkers and join us for food and fun with your fellow riders.

We will be celebrating our new additions to the 2012 ride and registering anyone who still needs to sign up before our registration fees jump to $50.

We're partnering with OKC’s weekly novice cycling ride on the Oklahoma River trails for this year's Oklahoma City Kick Off Party.  RIVERSPORT Ride is a fun, weekly novice ride that will get you riding! The group departs from and returns to the Boathouse District, 725 S. Lincoln Blvd, just south of Bricktown. 5 & 10 mile rides available. Free parking is available in the lot near the trails, as well as the lot off the north side of 6th street.

Road Safety Clinics Offered by Schlegel Come at 6 p.m. for pre-ride basic bike fittings and mini-clinics from Schlegel Bicycles. Topics include road safety, how to change a flat, proper gear shifting and more. We'll have food & beverages afterwards! ART BIKE 2012

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will unveil ART BIKE Tulsa 2012 presented by SCFM Compression Systems, Inc., an installation of colorful, uniquely-designed bicycles, transformed by some of Tulsa’s leading artists to bring awareness to the incurable, progressive disease of Multiple Sclerosis. ART BIKE Tulsa 2012 will be on display from May 9-21 at the Williams Towers in Downtown Tulsa, and will coincide with one of Tulsa’s signature events- Mayfest, May 17-20. Then, you can find the installation on display at the Tulsa International Airport from May 21-September 14. More details coming soon…

HAND-IN-HAND

What if everyone affected by MS could connect with one another? Or could connect with researchers who are working diligently to stop, restore or end MS? Or could connect with those who provide medical care or treat MS symptoms? What if everyone who cares about MS could join together in one place? Maybe, by connecting all of our knowledge, and hope, and experience, we can gain a new understanding of how to move forward.

MS Connections Go Hand-In-Hand! Follow these easy steps to keep the connections going March 12 - May 11:

1. Put on your orange gear and ask your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors or even strangers to hold your hand for MS.
2. Take a photo holding hands with others or by yourself holding your hands out. Post the photo on our Facebook wall.
3. Share our posts on your Facebook wall and encourage your friends to join in the connection.

After May 11, we will create an album on Facebook of all the photos submitted and begin a voting contest. The photo with the most 'likes' will receive an awesome prize! Also, each person who submits a photo March 12 - May 11 will be entered to win a prize. On World MS Day, May 30, we will unveil a fun, visual representation of MS Connections Go Hand-In-Hand. It starts with one and keeps growing!
