DAY 2 CANCELED
Updated | September 23, 2016
Please see our new cancellation FAQs, which includes important information regarding new transportation plans due to the Day 2 cancellation.
After serious consideration, the National MS Society and Bike MS organizers have made the difficult decision that Day 2 (Sunday, September 25) of Bike MS: The Road Divided is canceled due to the expected inclement weather along the route and surrounding areas. Due to the forecast for severe weather on Sunday, including lightning and heavy rainfall, we have concerns about being able to provide a safe event for cyclists, volunteers, and staff. Day 1 (Saturday, September 24) will continue as planned from Norman to Guthrie with a great Finish Line experience there. We recognize that this may impact your plans for the weekend, and want to do everything we can to help you best prepare. We know our cyclists have put in a lot of training and fundraising efforts, but the safety of our riders is our top priority. Your continued patience, understanding, and support are greatly appreciated! Together we are stronger, and together we will NOT let the weather dampen our commitment to ending MS forever!
